Astrid Inga Schweigert is an award-winning Real Estate broker licensed in Hawaii and Nevada. As the former owner of United Country- Cowboy Country Realty, her goal has been to bring the lifestyle real estate franchise to the Hawaiian Islands. Astrid is extremely excited to manage the very first United Country Real estate office in the Hawaiian Islands.
Originally from Germany, she has lived the Hawaii Island lifestyle to the fullest - from cattle ranches to live-aboard scuba diving yachts, from a coffee farm in Holualoa, a macadamia nut farm in Capt Cook to an ocean front home in Milolii and multiple country homes near Kailua-Kona. Surrounded by some of the great Hawaii cattle ranches, Astrid has now settled on a 30 acre horse property at beautiful Southpoint in the Kau District.
As a professional scuva diving instructor and underwater photographer and journalist, Astrid has authored 10 books and dozens of articles describing Hawaii's underwater world, flora and fauna and island history and is extremely familiar with most of aspects of Hawaii. She literally knows all the Hawaiian fish by name. Her love and talent for professional photgraphy has shifted from the underwater world to air; she now a is licenced drone operator who will put her talents to work to to promote your Real Estate property listing with beautiful airial images.
As a United Country Farm Specialist, Astrid has owned and operated multiple farms in the past including a hay farm and cattle ranch in Nevada, and resided on a varity of farms in Hawaii. She specializes in agricultural and forest land, ranches, ranchettes, coffee, fruit, hemp and macadamia nut farms, equine properties, as well as sustainable and survivalist properties. Hawai'i's beautiful mountain slopes feature some of the world's most spectacular ocean views and with Astrid's long background in the scuba diving industry and passion for the ocean make it only natural to also focus on oceanfront Real Estate and properties with ocean views, but also led to her joining the volunteer team of the Hawai'i Wildlife Fund for beach and shoreline clean ups!
Since joining United Country Real Estate in 2015, Astrid has focused on marketing lifestyle properties including extensive social media marketing which gained her Rising Star and Presidents awards in 2017. Licensed since 2005 and a broker since 2009, Astrid always strives to create win/win real estate transactions for all parties often bringing buyers and sellers together.
